Samuel Knob
Bio Samuel has a great respect and admiration by music and technology. He has been always influenced by his father, programmer and musician, reason why he has been in contact with these two scopes from his childhood. At the age of 16 years he decided, together with some friends, to form a rock-pop band, playing as the drummer at many and diverse places, from bars and pubs from different localities from the Comunidad Valenciana, from university events to small festivals organized by the near capital and towns. Step by step starts getting interested more and more in electronic music, when finally, the habit of drumsticks was changed by the faders and knobs. Musically he has going thru several styles clearly differentiated. From the electro of “The Hacker”, “Anthony Rother” or “Kraftwerk”, going thru the neo-pop of “Soft Cell” or “D.A.F.”, to the techno of “Dave Clarke” o “Jeff Mills”. From between the artists he has been more influenced lately he emphasizes: “Audiofly”, “Marc Ashken”, “SIS”, “Monoblock”, “Mathias Kaden”, “Stimming”, “Johnny D”, “Anthony Collins”, “Inxec” or “Massi DL”. Nowadays, after finishing his studies in the computer science faculty of the “Universidad Politécnica” of Valencia, he is totally involved on music production. His productions are being released on well known labels like “Viva Music”, “Trapez LTD”, “Barraca Music”, “Glückskind Schallplatten” or “Multi Vitamins”. He is resident of one of the most important Spanish clubs, Barraca. He is also resident of the prestigious festival ElectroSplash.
